I just finished the second of two workshops on traditional Bulgarian songs with Tui Mamaki. Wow! I feel physically and mentally stretched and yet nurtured. Tui has a great intuition for finding your level and then pushing you out further. She guided us with both patience and strong direction in a sensitive and organic process. And what a stylee singer!

Superb teaching style, personality and effectiveness not to mention voice and skill
— ” Stephanie McGee (singer/workshop facilitator)
Just wanted to tell you once more how much I enjoyed the workshop – your energy, openness, you really knowing your stuff, how to pass it on and where you took us within the limit of our experience!
—  Katrin Insel (Waitomo Caves Choir)
You have a beautiful radiance and communicated so well how to feel the music. Your gestures and words were poetry to me and will live on in memory. Thank you so so much for a wonderful workshop, such a fantastic experience, and for taking me to Bulgaria with you for a little moment in time.
— Christine C (Golden Bay)
Thank you for the wonderful workshop. You have such a steady and great energy, and such a multiplicity of teaching skills that I felt truly supported along with everyone else. Your singing is inspiring and you took us on a gorgeous journey into the intricacies… a real treasure! I am certain that I’ll not be the only one who would jump at the chance to come along to a longer workshop with you, next year.
— Dominique de B (ZING Choir Golden Bay)
