Marvelous Music Therapy

This weekend we celebrated the 20 year celebration of the Music Therapy Course at Massey University which is now at Victoria University in Wellington.

This weekend celebrated the pioneering people who worked tirelessly to get this course up and running 20 years ago.

In this photo you have all the glorious people Kimberley and Jenny studied with in the Masters Programme (19 years ago!!!) can you spot us?

Many of these divine ❤️ people presented this weekend on their varied work at the 50th celebration of music therapy in New Zealand.

Also featured is our two professors - Sarah Hoskyns who is still a teacher in the course along with Carolyn Ayson who we studied with and is now a professor on the course. Daphne Rickson our past professor has just completed the 50 year history of music therapy in New Zealand.

We are so proud of this group of pioneers, leaders and just darn good people.

So much music, so many hugs! Our hearts and brains are full.
