SLNA Survey
Later this month we will be sending out a survey to our membership to reconnect and find out some things about what you are experiencing as a song leaders and make enquiries about what you would like for events for next year.
Our survey will comprise of three different elements
Statistic gathering for funding applications to strengthen our ability to provide funding to support delivery of events.
General information to find out how you're doing.
Enquiry about what rocks your boat for events for next year.
We will do our best to keep the questions as on point as possible and not to onerous. We appreciate any support you have to offer us in this survey as the best way of honoring your experiences in our membership. If you are not currently signed up as a member if you could fill in the survey, that would also help us to honor your experiences.
We want to acknowledge how challenging things are in New Zealand at the moment and offer of a ray of hope that singing can be an aspiration for creating wellbeing and stability in times of change. It is a place to come and be with others, take a load off and just release.
Your work is beautiful and offers such a lot to the people who you are connecting too.
We know you are putting the hard work in for the collective, we see you and are working on ways to support your best song leading practice and finding ways to nurture your leadership so that your cup feels filled up.
We are having a National “Coffee and Catch” up on Zoom on Sunday 17th November between 4-5pm
Get to know each other. Ask questions about topics important to you. Discuss ideas for future online connections. Share perspectives, techniques and songs. This is an open forum for sharing and discussions. From song leading to voice training to organisational issues to the personal politics of choirs....and everything in between.
We are working on the possibility of regional “Coffee and Catch up” events before the end of the year.
