Vacancy: Choir Director for World Song Singers (WoSoSi)
WOSOSI World Song Singers is an a cappella choir in Wellington, New Zealand, that brings the world’s rich singing traditions to you. From songs that celebrate peace, stand up for freedom or yearn for loved ones lost, we embrace the power of music and shared human experience.
We would be looking for someone with at least 2 years of song leading experience within choirs or ensembles.
They would have a keen interest in music from other cultures and languages.
Rehearsal Venue: Wilton Bowling Club. Tuesday evenings 7:00pm - 9:00pm
We emphasize having fun each week and producing quality music. We like to do a couple of performances a year, singing three and four parts.
We are about 20 members and have a vast repertoire of songs that we would like to continue singing and improving.
This is a paid position.
