How to follow your joy?
How to follow your joy sounds simple but I think it might actually be easier than you think?
Maybe the most simple part of following your joy, is the love of what you do and as song leaders we love music, we love singing and love composing music. I wanted to share all of those things in this article today.
It's been thirty years Sister Act 2 has come out and I had the good fortune to come across the interview series on The View. I thought it'd be great share it with you because there is such joy in people's memories from their experiences and of course from what we originally got to be a witness to in the movie.
Generosity and kindness goes a long way, the patience to listen, to share an ear and some love.
That has presence of others has effected the careers of other people, that of course bringing the talent to the table has done that as well in which Whoopi points out so beautifully.
We wanted to share this out to you because they speak to largest songs from Sister Act 2 and the cultural joyful impact it has had over all of these years.
How much influence sharing joy has got the community over the last 30 years particularly inspired to think about even lasting impact a song can when you are able to compose something create it and make it reminds me that although the tortoise made it to the end of the race, he had to the in the race in the first place. That knowing when to take up the opportunity is important, being in the right set of circumanstances, calling it forth or creating the environment for magic to occur.
We are song leaders, we are the creators of magic moments that is what we are good at.
What is the point of hiding your talent and your beautiful work away from being brought into the world. Give it life. Be present, share it, let it have life and you never know where it's going to go.
How to follow joy…. be the joy and it will follow you.
Please enjoy the interviews from the cast of Sister Act 2 as they reflect on their experience of having been on the film and what has meant in the lives over the last 30 years.
And of course it wouldn't be complete without a jolly good sing so please enjoy by versions of joyful joyful one from the film and one from the interview.
As soon as you watch the 30 year old version, your like, I have to watch the original right now!! There you go.
