Congratulations Wellington Community Choir

We celebrate all of the singers and song leaders who have been a part of the fine tapestry that makes up Wellington Community Choir. It is often in times of celebration you get to remember all the amazing people you sing alongside, the people who have lead you. The amazing guest tutors who have popped in for a night. The places you have been and travelled together. The stages you have sung on. The quiet friendships, the unspoken familiarity and the thought “You’re from choir aren’t you?” It wouldn’t be Wellington Community Choir without reference to the colourful heart and soaring voices.

(Last) night we were privileged to be announced as the runner up in the Arts and Culture category of the Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards 2024. Thank you to whoever nominated us and to those who have sung with us and supported us over the last 19 years.
